Holistic Med Spa recognizes that different types of skin deserve different types of chemical peels. The type of chemical peel solution(s) is carefully chosen for your particular goals and skin-type.
We provide a variety of chemical peels that may contain one or more of the following natural ingredients:
- Salicylic acid (derived from the foxglove plant)
- Glycolic acid (aka fruit acid, alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) - derived from sugar cane)
- Lactic acid (derived from milk)
- Mandelic acid (derived from bitter almonds and produced in the body and in the lab)
- Alpha-hydroxy acid - derived from fruit
- TCA (tri-chloro-acid acid) - an acid
- Retinoic acid (vitamin A)
- Vitamin C (5-20% concentration) - used together with other types of peel procedures often improving results
Chemical peels are safe, effective, and good for all skin types.
