What is IPL?

Intense Pulsed Light Therapy uses a xenon flash bulb to selectively destroy brown and red discoloration of your skin. This promotes a more even skin-tone. How Does IPL Work to Eliminate Blemishes?

Our aestheticians work with a small glass hand piece that will be placed directly on the skin. This glass piece emits a range of wavelengths with each pulse—these wavelengths only affect the dermis, not the epidermis. The light will direct itself towards skin that does not match the surrounding tissue, such as areas with blemishes.
