Our doctors primarily use Juvederm in the lips because it's consistency is most ideal for this area. Juvederm is made out of hyluronic acid. This chemical is naturally found in the body and serves as an important component in skin elasticity. Juvederm is made out of the same material as Restalyne, however it is cross-linked. This means that whereas Restalyne may wears off after about 6-8 months, Juvederm may last longer. Individual results may vary.

How is Juvederm Administered?

Using a small gauge needle, our doctors can inject Juvederm directly into the area of concern. Depending on your pain tolerance, our doctors may begin with a topical anesthetic or an ice pack.
